In celebration of National Native American Heritage Month, enrolled Cherokee member, Traci Sorell, will read her book, Contenders, about the first two Native Americans to appear in the world series! 

This event is put on in collaboration with other libraries. Librarians from Wilmington and Lexington will follow the reading with questions for Traci. Learn more about Traci from her website. Traci has published several books for children - be sure to check them out before the event.
