Founded in 1913 by the Science Teachers’ Bureau, the Boston Children’s Museum is the second oldest children’s museum in the world and one of the few that maintain a collection. Designed for both children and families, the Museum exhibits focus on science, culture, environmental awareness, health & fitness, and the arts, emphasizing hands-on engagement and learning through experience, and employing play as a tool to spark the inherent creativity, curiosity, and imagination of children.

Pass admits up to 4 people at 1/2 off admission price. 

Click "Reserve a Pass" below to select the date you would like to visit and receive a discount coupon to the Children's Museum.  Your email confirmation will include the printable discount coupon and instructions for ordering timed tickets to the Children's Museum with the library discount.  Timed tickets are currently required to enter the museum and your discount coupon and entry dates must match.  

Pass cannot be combined with other discounts.

Located in Boylston, MA, and open year-round, the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill features carefully planned gardens and collections of ornamental, edible and native plants, with a number of trails that traverse the 132-acre property. In addition, there are many programs and events, including classes, lectures, art exhibits and concerts. The Garden is run by the Worcester County Horticultural Society, the third oldest active horticultural society in the United States.

Pass Benefits

The Library Pass to New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill allows a 50% admission discount for two people.  Advance reservations are no longer required but are still available for those who would like to purchase tickets in advance.  

Once you reserve the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill pass you will receive an email that includes instructions to get the 50% discount. This pass requires you to pick up the discount pass from the library the day before your visit.  This laminated pass needs to be returned to the library after your visit.

PLEASE NOTE: The library is closed on Sundays starting May 5th through Sept 15th. Please make arrangements to pick up Sunday reservations on the Saturday before.
