Founded in 1886, the Concord Museum is a repository of local history and a gateway to the town of Concord. It educates visitors from around the world about the history of Concord and its continuing influence on American political, literary and cultural life through permanent and changing exhibits, educational programs and publications. Its collection contains a range of unique items from the area, including a Paul Revere lantern; many objects that once belonged to Henry David Thoreau; a reproduction of Ralph Waldo Emerson’s study; and furniture, artwork, and objects from the colonial era on.

Pass Benefits

This pass is a laminated pass that is checked out and must be returned.  Once reserved, you may pick up the pass either the day of use or the day before if the library is open.  Check with the museum for any additional information about your visit including safety guidelines and timed ticketing requirements.  Each pass admits up to 4 people at $5 off per person from the regular admission price.

Cannot be combined with other discounts. Not valid for member pricing.

PLEASE NOTE: The library is closed on Sundays starting May 5th through Sept 15th. Please make arrangements to pick up Sunday reservations on the Saturday before.

The Boston Museum of Fine Arts, in existence since July 4, 1876, is one of the most comprehensive art museums in the world, with a collection of almost 500,000 works of art, ranging from ancient Egyptian artifacts to contemporary painting, sculpture and video. The Library Discount Pass admits 2 adults for $10 general admission and $10 special exhibition. In addition, up to 4 children ages 7-17 for $10 each (special exhibition only).

There is no general admission discount for children 7-17 for general admission is regularly $10 each.

Children 6 and under are admitted free.

Once reserved, you will receive an e-mail that contains a discount code. You can print the library pass with discount code or display it on your mobile device for use at the museum or you can use the discount code to make advance reservations on the museums website.

Promo Code may not be combined with any other offers. Pass is not applicable towards discounts on shopping, parking, dining, films, concerts, lectures, courses or any other public programs.

Pass Benefits

This pass will admit up to 4 people at a 50% discount on tickets to the Museum’s Exhibit Halls. Children under 3 are not included in the count of 4 and are always admitted for free.

  1. Your Library pass can only be used on the date printed on the pass.
  2. Please bring your library pass confirmation (printed or displayed on a phone) when you visit.
  3. When you arrive at the Museum, stop at the Box Office to exchange your library pass and purchase your Exhibit Halls tickets at the discounted rate.  If you have any questions or would like to reserve your Exhibit Halls passes in advance to avoid waiting in line the day of your visit, please call 617-723-2500 (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily).
  4. If you are unable to show your Library confirmation on a phone, you may print out a copy using the link in the confirmation email or request a paper copy from the library.

The Peabody Essex Museum grew out of the collection of East India Marine Society, an organization of Salem captains whose charter called for acquisition of “natural and artificial curiosities.” Its permanent collection contains art and artifacts of Africa, Asia, India, China (with a Qing Dynasty house brought from the Huizhou region), Japan, Korea, Pacific Islands, and features objects of maritime art and history that include paintings, drawings, ship models, marine decorative arts, tools, weapons, navigational instruments, and ship and yacht plans. It also has a thriving changing exhibition schedule that sometimes includes important traveling shows.

In the summer of 2019, the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, the largest park of its kind in New England, became part of the Trustees. The museum, located in Lincoln, MA, encompasses nearly 30 conserved acres and presents contemporary art from New England—and beyond—with sculptures in the landscape and museum exhibitions. DeCordova is now partnered with the Trustees of Reservations. This pass admits patrons into DeCordova at a reduced admission for 2 adults and 2 children (under 17 yrs of age).  For DeCordova, you must purchase timed tickets at https://thetrustees.org/place/decordova/

Reserve a date for your visit, then pick up the library discount pass at the Circulation Desk in the main lobby up to one week in advance of your reservation.  Purchase your timed tickets at https://thetrustees.org/place/ and enter the code: GOPASS. You will need to bring both your purchased tickets and the pass from the library.
